What’s Your Most Meaningful Moment?

Thinking back over the last year there have been several meaningful moments for me and my family. We have had some big events like Capt. M starting kindergarten, Mr. B attending a new daycare and me taking a full-time position.

But when I think back about what moment was the most meaningful, it was the moment that hubby and I decided the boys needed more parental involvement. For well over a year we had talked about hubby quitting his job. He had a lot of instability as far as hours and the boys were showing signs they needed one of us. Both of us were scared of this big leap and we were very unsure on how we would adjust to one income. Thus, we kept putting it off.

Then one day Capt. M had a very bad experience at after school care. It was at that very moment that I felt the tug on my heart and I knew what we needed to do. I called hubby from the parking lot of the school and he agreed to take the leap into daddy daycare.

That was the best decision we have made so far as parents!

Our boys are happy and well cared for. There is nothing more important to us than the well being of our boys. And you know what? Hubby is happy too! He is a wonderful stay at home dad. My stress level has plummeted too- which makes us all happy!
