Are you knee deep in coupons, rebates, receipts, blog deals & more? You are not alone. There’s someone out there just like you! While we are each individuals with unique characteristics, we’re created with similar interests, pet peeves, needs, wants, and more! Let me encourage you to find that one person that will share the savings with you. Having a coupon companion might double the fun——–add more savings and value to your life.
Coupon Companions can clip coupons together over coffee, playdates with the children, and/or over a quick sandwich and refreshing glass of tea. This visit would be productive while it allowed you to socialize too. Additionally, the two (or more) of you would have the opportunity to trade coupons and/or lists of stockpile items you are shopping for throughout the month.
We cannot be everywhere at once so establish a coupon companion or network close to where you live and see how much more you can save. This week alone…….
- A friend of mine was driving 45 minutes away for a family outing and appointment for her baby’s monthly checkup; she was able to pick up an Elizabeth Arden sample for me from the city’s Macy’s. In turn, she received free potatoes that I had a coupon for here in town.
- My mother-in-law asked me if I would like to test detergent for a company that was delivering her a kit. I was elated to test and receive free detergent. She in turn gets tidbits on some of the best deals in town. Last week, I met her in Wal-Mart and handed her a coupon for most everything she had in her shopping cart.
- Today, I received a phone call from my brother in Atlanta. He said, “Quick Question.” I knew that meant: Answer the question and I will call you back later. He was buying their families items and came across a free coffee deal. Thus, I’ll receive free coffee next month when I visit! FUN!
Having a coupon companion and network will allow you to save more money/time, share interests with those you care for and enjoy spending time with throughout your life. Additionally, you can help one another as you respect one another’s individuality and privacy/time.
It is a give and take. We all need one another. My own philosophy entails, “Give back what you receive and more! It’s then when you truly have more than you ever thought possible!”
