It’s time to start getting your income tax information organized. I really dread this time of year because I am not very organized with my paper work. Every year I vow to be more organized- unfortunately that has not happened yet!
If you are like me and need a lot of time to gather your paperwork, receipts, 1099’s, w-2’s, etc.- I would suggest starting now. I typically file our taxes myself with an online program like H&R Block Online. If your taxes are pretty straight forward, this program walks you right through the process. You can file your Federal return for free with H&R Block Online.
