Additionally, daily we’ll strive to be the BEST in our circle by sharing our honest and real-life saving tips.

Here are a few scenarios & tips that were brought to my attention again this week while shopping at Kroger:

Tip #1: Tacking advantage of Mega events and using coupons saves me the most money:

Tide was priced at $7.99
Kroger Card Savings -$2.00
P&G Event Savings -$1.00
Tide Manufacturer’s Coupon -$2.00
Tide came home with me for $2.99

Stockup up on non-perishable and cleaning items when they are at their rock bottom price!

Tip #2: Check your receipt carefully

After your cashier has finished your transaction double check your receipt (in the car or lobby area of your store so that you are not bothering others or having your train of thought interrupted). Note how much each item scanned for and how each coupon and savings event deducted from your transactions. If you see an error, visit the service desk! Kroger has a Price Scan Guarantee Policy: My Q-tips rang up $4.19 but they were on sale for 50% off this week at Kroger. Thus, the customer service representative had to refund the $4.19 back to me. Free Q-tips were my reward for taking time to review my receipt!

Taking little actions, can really add up to big savings. What are your tips for being the best shopper?
