Compound butters are a great way to add a dimension and depth of flavor to all sorts of different recipes! Try this recipe the next time you make waffles, pancakes, cinnamon toast, cinnamon rolls etc. & enjoy the added fun and flavor on your favorite foods!
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened (leave out at room temperature)
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- ¼ cup honey
- 1-1 ½ tsp pure vanilla extract (more or less to taste)
- In a small bowl whip together the butter and powdered sugar with a whisk or hand mixer if you prefer until free smooth; stir in honey and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Use on desired foods then store remainder in a sealable container in the refrigerator for future use.
- Enjoy!
