No Bake Cookies Recipe

Everyone has a favorite cookie and No Bake Cookies are mine!!! This cookie recipe is quick and easy and a great summer recipe because it doesn’t require you to heat up the oven! Chocolaty and delicious you just can’t go wrong with these! If you haven’t had them before try them now!

No Bake Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • 4 tbsps unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ semisweet chocolate chips
  • ½ cup peanut butter, creamy
  • 4 cups quick cooking oats
  • 2 tbsps pure vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Line 1-2 large cookie sheets with wax paper.
  2. In a medium pot melt butter over medium-high heat, once melted add sugar, milk and cocoa powder, mix.
  3. Stirring continuously (to prevent burning on the bottom), bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute.
  4. Reduce heat to low and add peanut butter; continue stirring until peanut butter is melted into the mixture.
  5. Remove from heat, add vanilla and oatmeal. Mix well and use a spoon or small scoop to drop onto wax paper in desired sized mounds. (quantity will vary depending on what size you make your cookies)
  6. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

  1. I never had the thought of adding peanut butter to cookies but it sounds like it might be tasty. Would you believe my cat loves cookies as much as me, lol. I caught her eating the crumbs from my kids one day and so gave her a piece of one and she lapped it up.
