Our family loves to grill but I (Litsa) leave all the grilling to my husband. Although he works 10-12 hour shifts many days with his construction business, he never complains about manning the grill. Maybe the right ingredients are involved—meat + Hickory Smoked Sea Salt. It is decadent on rib-eye, tenderloin, and homemade grilled burgers.
Initially, we used this spice from McCormick but they quit making it. Thus, my husband tried several spices before searching the internet for one we might enjoy more! He found it when he ordered Hickory Smoked Sea Salt from MySpiceSage.com. It packs in the flavor to our grilled meat. Aside from grilling meat, however, we have not tried this spice on vegetables and/or fish! I suppose the hickory flavor may work wonders for fish and vegetables as well. However, they are not my husband’s forte. Thus, I’ll have to add this task to my list!
