These Whole Wheat Naan Vegetarian Pizzas were an easy after school lunch for my (Litsa’s) daughter and me. From start to finish, they took only 20 minutes to prepare and bake for lunch. The ingredients can easily be altered to fit your palette. We used ingredients that we had on hand in the pantry and/or refrigerator/freezer that paired well with our Whole Wheat Naan.
- Tandoori Naan Whole Wheat (365 Everyday Value-Whole Foods Brand)
- Presliced Onions, Green Peppers, Red Peppers (frozen)---3/4 cup
- Pitted Kalamata Black Olives (1/4 cup)--sliced in half with kitchen scissors
- Classico Florentine & Spinach & Cheese Sauce ¾ cup
- Swiss Cheese Slices 3-4 slices/sliced in strips
- Drizzle of Olive Oil
- Oregano
- Italian Seasoning
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Place the sauce on first, mixing a few added spices (oregano & Italian Seasoning prior to adding it to the naan).
- Next, add the veggies and olives. Then, crisscross Swiss cheese on top.
- Finally, drizzling the the pizzas with olive oil and baking them for 15 minutes at 400.
- Let cool a couple of minutes and then slice and serve!
