Materials
Empty Recycled Jar (from olives, used candle, etc.)
Gauze
Hot Glue Gun
Wiggly Eyes
To create these Mummy-Mummy jars, you will first need to keep a jar or two after a candle has finished burning and/or an olive jar has emptied! Wash the glass jar to remove any residue and/or odor off of it. Allow it to dry completely before working on your Mummy!
Next, hot glue gauze on it as you wrap it tightly around the jar. You may use as many layers as you see fit!
Then, add wiggly eyes to give your Mummy personality!
Your finished Mummy-Mummy will delightfully add a touch of frightful FUN to your Halloween decor!
Place it next to your candy bowls. Create a family of Mummies to entice a story to tell! Drop tea lights (battery operated lights) into the jars to let the Mummies glow or add candy sticks to entice you to throw a Halloween bash or at least be the talk of the neighborhood!
Note: Sheer pink ribbon was used to create a Pinkalicious Mummy! Use what’s in your craft bin to come up with new designs with your child(ren) as your guide(s).
What are you creating at home this week?
