My daughter (Litsa’s) loves Pete the Cat—–and all sorts of literary legends! She’s always delighted for stories of adventure whether they are make-believe or real-life tales!?! Pink Panther, Tom & Jerry, Pete the Cat, Samantha, Laura—-are just a few of our bedtime pals this month.
Pete the Cat and the Bad Banana ($3.79 shipped with Prime) would be a perfect book to add to our collection of literary lessons that keep our kindergartner reading daily! The more we emerge our children in characters that evoke additional reading experiences, the more they’ll read and write. Journal writing goes hand in hand with literary characters.
