If your family is like mine, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are a staple! Not only do my boys enjoy them, I like them too! To change it up, every once in awhile I will grill a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. The result is amazing! The peanut butter gets all melty and warm. Warning: If you are cooking them yourself, you might want a snack (at least half a sandwich) before serving others. They are that good.
If you have peanut allergies in the family, you could try almond butter or sunbutter. Use homemade chia jam for a little extra protein. There is just something about the warm spread that brings comfort! Eat a grilled PB&J sandwich as a snack, meal or even dessert!
