Were you left in the RED in 2013? It’s now January 2014———a time for new beginnings! Your future depends on actions you will take with your budget now!
As a stay at home mom (Litsa), I’ve had to keep a close watch on our family’s budget so that we could afford the luxuries we desire——-beginning with my abilities to remain home until our little girl begins Kindergarten. Each year, month, week, day, and circumstance brings its own challenges to the table—–the budget table! In January of 2012, we were replacing a furnace to heat our home——–a major expense! A year later—$20,000+ of out of pocket medical bills filtered in for our family to pay! One small stay at home mommy income & one larger Daddy income joined forces to negate these medical bills in 2013. We made MAJOR progress, in addition to covering daily expenses, vacations, and more! Now, it’s 2014 and I must say that BUDGETS work! We can do this again in 2014—daily living, medical, extracurricular, vacations…in. the.budget!!!
I wear the budget crown. Thus, we are using stockpiles, coupons, sales, meal planning first and foremost! Next, I have made the choice to eliminate excessive anything in JANUARY……February…….March…….
We will spend what is coming in on PAPER before the money comes IN. Then, we’ll be prepared to LIVE within budget.
Do you budget, save, and revamp your family’s income for better outcomes in the future?
