How do you begin your morning after waking!?! Is lemon water part of your morning meeting!?! IF I have read it once, I’ve read it and reread on my Facebook feed and in many, many, many of my magazines in 2013—and in to 2014. So why not!?! It is WINTER. Warm liquids are inviting. My body needs water. And I love lemons—-plus a little sunshine…even if in the form of a lemon’s skin…is much welcomed to my morning! So lemon swimming in hot water is my drink of choice in the morning this year!
The benefits of lemon water are said to be numerous:
- Boosts Immune System
- Balances pH
- Helps with Weight Loss
- Clears Skin
- Freshens Breath
- Relieves Respiratory Problems
- Keeps you Zen
- Helps you kick the coffee habit
So where am I in this morning meet!?! I’ve enjoyed my morning Lemon Water especially throughout the freezing first days of the year! It’s soothing. Welcoming…as for the benefits: I’m not sure where the real balance is but I’ll keep trying it for now! It is a bit Zen!?! As for kicking the coffee habit…ummm…I still enjoy my coffee right after my lemon water meet!!
