One of the great things about summer is there are a lot of inexpensive activities for kids! Every summer many movie theaters offer discount movies for kids. Below are the details for theaters that I know about.
Great Escapes Theaters Summer Kids Movies
Free movies at many locations with some theaters charging a nominal fee. All movies start at 9:30 am. Check with the theater nearest you for show dates and movies.
Harkins Theaters Summer Movie Fun
Buy a season pass for 10 movies over a 10 week period for less than $1 per movie. If you don’t want the season pass, it’s $2 per movie. All movies start at 9:45 am.
Marquee Cinemas Kid’s Summer Movie Program
Marquee Cinemas offer FREE kid’s movies at participating theaters. Checkout the list of theaters for more details about movies and times.
Regal Theaters Summer Movie Express
Regal Theaters are offering $1 movies on Tuesday and Wednesday for 9 weeks. The movies are all G and PG. Search for a participating theater near you to find out when the program begins and what movies will be showing.
Cinemark Theaters
Cinemark Theaters has not released their schedule yet for 2012. There is a note up on the site to check back in the Spring (which it is almost Summer now!) for the new promotion. I expect they will have their list up soon.
