When we took our annual trip to California last month we traveled on JetBlue. This was our first experience with this airlines and I have to say it was fabulous!

I have flown quit a bit in the last few years on various airlines. More often than not, we have been delayed, had lost bags or terrible customer service. I was a bit hesitant to try JetBlue since it was a two hour drive to Washington Dulles from our house. However, we discovered the Country Inn & Suites airport parking deal and decided to give it a go.

Reasons Why I love JetBlue:

  • The first bag checked is free. With four of us traveling, that meant four free bags. We didn’t have to pay for any of our luggage.
  • They were on time. We had no delays whatsoever. In fact we were 20 minutes early on the return flight!
  • Great customer service. From the airport staff to the flight attendants, we had great customer service.
  • Free snacks. Need I say more when traveling with kids? Even though I packed snacks, my boys were thrilled to be able to pick out a snack on the plane for free! JetBlue also offers a variety of free beverages throughout the flight.
  • Individual TV’s. Each seat had their own TV with about 40 channels to choose from. This kept our boys busy on our 5 hours flight!
  • We had a direct flight!

We will certainly fly JetBlue again. It was truly the best travel experience we have had in a very longtime.

(And no I wasn’t paid to write this! We had such a  great experience, I wanted to share it with all of you!)

Make sure you look over all of the other travel tips I have written about!

  1. I love Jetblue too, but the couple of times we have traveled since being married, they seem to be a lot more money than other airlines. I think its worth it though, especially now that we have a toddler.

    • Hi Gina,
I did a ton of price comparisons before we bought tickets on JetBlue. I searched many different options as far as airports we were leaving from and flying to. After a couple of weeks of searching daily, JetBlue turned up to be the best deal for us. Now, I am not sure this will always be the case. However this time it was! I think it depends a lot on your destination too!
